A former plantation circa 1698, Snee Farm is a golf course community ideally situated in the heart of Mt. Pleasant. Unlike other Mt. Pleasant neighborhoods, Snee Farm has three points of entry, making ingress and egress easy and convenient. A family-friendly, unpretentious country club community, Snee Farm has its own golf course, swimming pools, tennis courts, playground, and clubhouse, which was recently renovated and includes a full service bar, restaurant, fitness center, conference room, game room, and locker rooms. The championship golf course, designed by George Cobb, has 6,834 yards of Bermuda grass greens, a 121 slope rating, and numerous mature oak trees that border the course. Membership is not required, but many residents enjoy the camaraderie and social events at the country club. Additionally, Snee Farm members receive reciprocity at Rivertowne Country Club, a beautiful facility located of Highway 41 in the northern region of Mt. Pleasant. The tennis complex is comprised of 18 lighted courts, eight of which are clay and ten of which are hard surface. The resort-style swimming pool is the “hangout” spot for families during the summer, and the adult-only swimming pool is perfect for water aerobics and lap exercise. Snee Farm has a long reputation of having one of the most competitive swim teams in the state.
